Please check that all items of clothing are clearly labelled with your child's name including PE clothing, jackets and jumper/cardigans.

School is always in need of any donations of clothing including tights, underwear, socks, shoes and any other outgrown school uniform.

Sickness and diarrhoea

School follows Newcastle Health  Protection Guidance. A child should not return to school following a bout of sickness and/or diarrhoea for 48 hours from the last episode of sickness and/or diarrhoea. If symptoms continue for more than 48 hours then medical advice is needed.
This will help to reduce the number of children and staff affected.

I hope you will agree that the prevention of the spreading of sickness and diarrhoea is important.  Many thanks for your co-operation with this.

Getting to and from school

To get to and from school, walking is definitely the best option! There are lots of benefits: it’s healthier than travelling by car, it improves the safety of pedestrians and road-users, and it respects nearby residents and parking regulations. Alternatively, we have bike-racks. If you do need to travel by car, please park wisely.

Disabled Access

Our school was built to ensure it is fully compliant with the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA).  A hearing loop can be provided through our main school office and there is allocated parking clearly marked in our visitors car park.

Safety in the Car Park

Please make sure you follow the arrows when coming in and leaving the car park to keep the traffic flowing.

Please only park in the marked spaces, not in the disabled spaces unless you display a disabled badge, or in the traffic flow areas.
